Orchard Street signs Puma at Gretna Gateway

7 September 2012

Orchard Street Investment Management, the specialist commercial property investment manager, has signed sportswear retailer Puma on a 3,000 sq ft lease at the Gretna Gateway Outlet Village in Dumfries and Galloway.

Puma is the latest retailer to join the 128,000 sq ft retail village in Gretna and follows a number of other brands including Clarks, The Body Shop and Berghaus which have opened stores at Gretna this year. In addition to the new retailers several current occupiers have also renewed their leases.

The new arrivals boost a strong tenant line-up which already includes an M&S Outlet, Nike Factory Store, Gap Outlet, Cadbury Factory Shop, and Costa Coffee.

Andrew Jenkins of Orchard Street Investment Management, commented:

"The addition of Puma along with so many other high quality brands will further enhance the retail offer at Gretna Gateway Outlet Village. This, together with a 4% increase in year-on-year sales and footfall figures, demonstrates Gretna’s broad appeal and the intrinsic strengths of quality outlet schemes against tough economic headwinds."
