Orchard Street appoints top fund manager Mark Russell as Partner

Orchard Street Investment Management (‘Orchard Street’), the specialist commercial property investment manager, is pleased to announce that Mark Russell, formerly of Legal & General (‘L&G’),  is joining the Partnership in October, bringing the benefit of over two decades worth of experience, including 10 years’ managing L&G’s flagship £3.2bn Managed Property Fund.  

At L&G, Mark led the Managed Property Fund through a sustained period of fund expansion and oversaw more than £2.5bn of transactions in the UK market. Prior to his time at L&G, he was a Portfolio Manager at Prestbury. He started his career in the real estate industry at Jones Lang Wootton in 1996.

At Orchard Street, Mark will report directly to Philip Gadsden and will also become a member of the firm’s Investment Committee.
